TOYOTA SIENTA Gliding World

PT Toyota Astra Motor launched the minibus TOYOTA SIENTA, who claimed to be a multi-active vehicle (MAV). Cars made in Karawang is performed at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2016, Thursday, April 7, 2016.

Vice President Director of Toyota Astra Henry Tanoto said Sienta positioned among low-class multi-purpose vehicle that is filled Toyota Avanza and medium MPV, such as the Toyota Innova. "We are targeting young consumers aged 20-40 years," he said in JIExpo Kemayoran.

This car like the Honda Freed, who first MPV consumers familiar with Indonesia. This five-door minivan can be filled five passengers. Two electric-powered sliding doors placed to access the middle cabin. At the rear there is quite a relief space for luggage.



On price, TAM TOYOTA SIENTA positioned in between the Toyota Avanza and Kijang Innova. "We are projecting selling price of Rp 230-295 million," he said.

Henry believes this new product acceptable to consumers in Indonesia. TAM targeting cars made only in Japan and Indonesia could sell 3,500 units a month. "Consumers are already able to pivot from today," he said.
