Specialty Vehicle Team or SVT is a division of Ford that is responsible to the birth of high-performance vehicles. Under this team, Ford never surprising pavement by introducing the F-150 SVT Lightning in 1993, and the second generation in 1999.

SVT Raptor was first introduced in 2010, by taking the base F-150 and entirely a product re-engineering to improve off-road capability.
